Awesome IKEA Hacks + Ideas

Awesome IKEA Hacks + Ideas

This is the first in my ever-growing IKEA Hacks Category, I adore making these posts because it just gives me so much inspiration for new decorating tips and tricks, and pretty soon my house is going to look like an IKEA showroom. Anyhow, here are the projects I’m taking on this month, and that I thought were worth a quick mention.

1.
 Fabric Bed Canopy

I love this creation, it’s a great idea to create a cosy little nook/canopy (Fabric – Berta Ruta, can be bought here.) I actually read someone say that this was perfect for kids and had to choke back the “are you kidding me?” because this is perfect for me and I’m, like, 21??!

2. Hanging Clothes/Brackets.
Uhhh this is amazing and so simple for people like me who have literally no room for wardrobes/drawers! Made from upside-down shelf brackets!!! You can buy them from here from as little as £2! Bargain.

3. DIY Book Shelves
DIY Bookshelves made from a BEKVÄM Spice rack, so easy, and simple to decorate, and they really do look amazing once finished!

4. Easy Clothing Storage/Hangers
By placing these clothing hooks side by side you can increase your storage space ALL OVER your bedroom, such a simple hack that goes so far, especially if you only have wall space! Buy them here!

5. Room Separator Curtain
This separator curtain can be made from fabric or even just a normal pair of curtains – but if were gonna be creative let’s say we make them from fabric such as this lovely design… such a great idea if you live in a studio apartment, or an apartment where the kitchen and living room are open plan! Awesome, right?!

6. Gigantic Noticeboard Gathering
Create one big notice board out of several small cork boards. VAGGIS noticeboard, can be bought here

  8. Amen to art students! (I was a music major and my sister and best friend are both animation majors, hehe). I love coloring – just thinking about how much I used to color calms me. I really need to get one of these coloring books in the near future. Thank you for sharing this!
