Creative Organisation – Awesome Hacks

I, among many, am very guilty of being un-organised… I don’t have a wardrobe, I have a floor-drobe, and if you’re one of my female readers then you just KNOW my eternal struggle, and rather than bookcases, my books are stacked all around my room on windowsills, sewing machines (regrettably) and funnily, holding my un-steady bed up to stop it from collapsing (and I must say it’s doing an amazing job!!!)

Among all of this, I have trouble organising my day to day schedules, too… from forgetting to pick up my nephews from school to forgetting to pay my phone bills and the rest of it, I am completely guilty of it and that is why I decided that enough was enough and made a plan,

To-Do Lists

Invest in a To-Do list, or several, these things are simply brilliant for organising the things you need to do, they can be bought with magnetic headers enabling you to stick the reminders on your fridge/metal surfaces/whiteboard etc. There’s nothing more satisfying than ticking things off the list either. Can be bought in tonnes of cutesy/eye catching designs.

Magnetic Whiteboard

Personally I think that whiteboards are a great tool that can be used in most places around the home… bedrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, bathrooms? you name it, it can be done, and it can be purchased in so many colours AND sizes… perfect because it’s always in view so how could you possibly forget to do anything again?!

 Chalkboard Decals

Chalkboard decals are stylish fun and won’t pull paint from your walls… simply stick to your wall and plan your week away! Can be written on with chalk pens rather than actual chalk sticks that feel horrible to the touch and was the only thing stopping me from purchasing one of these sooner! So awesome and can be purchased for next to nothing online and in stores such as Staples and Etsy.com.

Cork Board Calendar

These Cork Board Calendars are essentially cheap, fun, and easy to make, cork boards can be brought from pretty much everywhere nowadays and are literally available in all sizes and even shapes… I found one in the shape of the world map last year, it was awesome! Anyhow, it’s fun and actually makes you WANT to stay organised because pinning stuff to these boards is just awesome!
